Context: In 2012, Google embarked on an initiative (code-named Project Aristotle) to study hundreds of company’s teams, focused on building the perfect team. The company’s top executives long believed that building the best teams meant combining the best people.

In today’s world there is a strong desire for more development/coaching conversations. Expectations from managers to develop subordinates are considered something normal, but still, due to busy agendas and many last-minute demands, many one to one meetings are focused mostly on the business as usual.
